This Global Hardware Limited Warranty applies to Growlink-manufactured hardware products purchased by the original end-user purchaser. It describes the warranty period, what is covered, what is excluded, the warranty claim process, available remedies, and important limitations.
Growlink warrants to the original end-user purchaser that all Growlink-manufactured hardware products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.
This limited warranty is valid for thirty-six (36) months from the date of original purchase for Growlink-manufactured hardware products, except that Growlink-manufactured sensors and sensor components are covered for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase.
If a Product fails to conform to this warranty during the applicable Warranty Period, Growlink will, at its sole discretion and in accordance with these terms, repair or replace the Product as described below.
This warranty covers only defects in materials and workmanship of Growlink-manufactured Products that arise during normal use and operation and when the Product is used in accordance with its documentation and intended purpose.
During the Warranty Period, if a defect arises and a valid claim is received by Growlink within the Warranty Period, Growlink will, at its option, repair the defective Product or component, or replace it with a new or refurbished product of equal or greater functionality.
Any Product or component that is repaired or replaced under this warranty will be warranted for the remaining original Warranty Period or for ninety (90) days from the date of return shipment, whichever is longer, or for any additional period required by applicable law.
This warranty does not cover, and shall be void for, any damage, malfunction, or failure of the Product resulting from any of the following:
This limited warranty applies only to Growlink-manufactured hardware Products and genuine Growlink components contained within them.
It does not apply to software, cloud services, or subscriptions, except to the extent embedded software is necessary for the Product’s basic hardware operation and the failure results from a defect in materials or workmanship of the hardware itself.
Software, cloud services, and subscriptions are governed by Growlink’s Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (EULA), and are not covered under this hardware warranty. Separate services, including monitoring, support plans, onboarding, and installation services, are governed by their own terms.
To obtain service under this warranty, the Customer must notify Growlink of the alleged defect within the applicable Warranty Period. Growlink may require:
Growlink may first provide troubleshooting steps or remote technical support. If warranty service is required, Growlink will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) or similar authorization and provide instructions for return.
The Product must be packed securely and shipped in accordance with Growlink’s instructions. The Customer is generally responsible for the cost of shipping the Product to Growlink or an authorized service center, and for loss or damage in transit to Growlink if not properly packaged.
If the warranty claim is valid, Growlink will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement Product back to the Customer. If the claim is not valid, Growlink may return the Product unrepaired at the Customer’s expense, offer out-of-warranty service at the Customer’s cost, or dispose of the Product at the Customer’s request and expense.
If a returned Product is confirmed by Growlink to be defective and covered by this warranty, Growlink will, at its sole discretion:
Any repaired or replaced Product will continue to be covered for the remainder of the original Warranty Period or for ninety (90) days after the repair or replacement, whichever is longer, or for any longer period required by applicable law.
All replaced parts and Products become the property of Growlink. Growlink may use new, refurbished, or reconditioned parts or Products so long as performance and reliability are equivalent to new.
This limited warranty covers only repair, replacement, or refund of the Growlink Product itself, as expressly described above. Growlink is not responsible for other losses or damages arising from a Product defect or malfunction, including:
In no event shall Growlink’s total cumulative liability for all claims arising out of or relating to a Product exceed the amount actually paid by the Customer for that Product. The remedies provided in this Limited Warranty are the exclusive remedies available to the Customer.
For the avoidance of doubt, the limitations of liability set forth in Growlink’s Terms and Conditions of Sale and Terms of Service apply in addition to this Limited Warranty and shall control to the extent they further limit Growlink’s liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, this Limited Warranty is the exclusive warranty given by Growlink for its hardware products. Growlink makes no other warranties or conditions, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except to the extent such warranties cannot be disclaimed under applicable law.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply. Nothing in this warranty is intended to contravene mandatory consumer protections. If any provision is unenforceable, it will be modified or omitted only to the minimum extent necessary.
This hardware warranty is provided in conjunction with other agreements governing the purchase and use of Growlink Products. All Growlink hardware is sold subject to Growlink’s Terms and Conditions of Sale, and use of Growlink hardware and associated software or firmware is subject to the Growlink Terms of Service and End User License Agreement (EULA).
Nothing in this Hardware Warranty shall be construed to override, limit, or replace the Terms of Service, EULA, or Terms and Conditions of Sale, except to the extent this warranty imposes additional constraints on Growlink’s obligations for the benefit of the Customer.
In the event of any conflict between this warranty and the Terms and Conditions of Sale, Terms of Service, or EULA, the provision that more favorably limits Growlink’s liability or obligations shall prevail, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Growlink or its authorized partners or resellers may offer optional extended warranty plans or paid service programs for certain Products or customers. These may include longer coverage periods, expedited replacement, on-site support, or preventative maintenance.
If a Customer purchases an extended warranty or service plan, the terms of that plan will apply in addition to this standard warranty and will supersede this standard warranty only to the extent explicitly covered by the extended plan.
This Limited Warranty is not insurance and does not cover broader losses that may result from Product performance or lack of performance.
Growlink strongly recommends that commercial customers and users who rely on Growlink Products for critical applications maintain appropriate insurance coverage, including crop insurance, business interruption insurance, property insurance, and liability insurance as appropriate.
This Limited Warranty is applicable globally to Growlink Products, but it will be interpreted and enforced according to the laws of the country or region in which the Product was originally sold, unless overriding local law requires otherwise.
Growlink intends for this warranty to comply with applicable consumer protection laws. Where mandatory law applies, that law will prevail and this warranty will be deemed adjusted accordingly.
No Growlink employee, distributor, reseller, or other agent is authorized to modify or extend the terms of this warranty or to make representations or promises different from those stated in this document.
If any provision of this warranty is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be interpreted to reflect the parties’ intent as closely as possible and, if necessary, severed, while the remainder will remain in full force and effect.
